Mission Statement and Services provided
The mission of the Pilot Fire Department is to provide a range of programs designed to protect the lives and property of the inhabitants of the Pilot Community from the hazardous effects of fires, medical emergencies or exposure to dangerous conditions.
Pilot fire department responds "first-out" to all fire, motor vehicle accidents, and other relevant emergencies withing the Pilot district.
The department's medical responders provide an EMT-B level of service for critical emergency medical calls within the district.
Pilot fire department also provides mutual aid services to Bunn, Hopkins, Ferrels, Zebulon, and other departments as needed, along with man-power resources to Franklin County Emergency Medical System.
